I really love the imagined Coral came back alive as THE only survivor of the “Mission” Dr. White sends them and their team on, and Teal is just there looking at their leader expecting some cheer or maybe hugs but Coral passed by them instead, going away to isolate themself because all these FEELINGS are GNAWING at them.

Long story short Teal managed to pry Coral out and convinced them to properly grief with Teal themself, so they put up a picture of the team, an unlit candle, and some Sweet Pea Origami made from paper scraps Teal made.

Coral and green doodles,and teal and tan doing photography together!! I did this because teal literally uses a cam in the series and theres an art of tan on the wiki with a camera

Something i Imagined how Coral and Teal have some kind of conversation after the last comic (TW ! Of not coming back) :

“They didn’t deserve that” Coral stated as they hugged Teal tighter “I’M the one who failed them, I’M the one who’s incompetent to let all of them die, I LIED to them, and I—!” Their angry rant is broken by a sob coming out of them.

Teal can feel Coral shaking in their hold.

“I’m the one who should’ve died—”

“Stop.”

Coral didn’t loosened their hold, their tears stained Teal’s side as the water kept coming out of their visor, then Coral was pushed away by Teal as they gripped by their sides.

“Don’t you EVER say that again !” Teal glared hard at Coral “It WASN’T your fault, YOU did your best, YOU kept them safe from the start, you SURVIVED and came BACK !”

Tears started flowing heavier from Teal’s visor “You came back….” They sat down and looked away from Coral “It would’ve been so easy…so easy to just…not”

Silence draped around them, Coral didn’t know what to say, it wasn’t like they hadn’t thought about it—they did, but the fact Teal had considered Coral would do it may have—

“You came back for your team, even if it’s just one…” Teal looked up at Coral and smiled “I’m very grateful for you, Coral”

”Okay that’s enough emotions for now” Coral pulled back from the hug Teal had given them once more.

They sat in silence again, a bit awkward that both of them are quite emotionally vulnerable now, then Teal perked up.

“Do you want to know what i’d do when i’m bored here with the Scientists ?”
