Something i Imagined how Coral and Teal have some kind of conversation after the last comic (TW ! Of not coming back) :
āThey didnāt deserve thatā Coral stated as they hugged Teal tighter āIāM the one who failed them, IāM the one whoās incompetent to let all of them die, I LIED to them, and Iā!ā Their angry rant is broken by a sob coming out of them.
Teal can feel Coral shaking in their hold.
āIām the one who shouldāve diedāā
Coral didnāt loosened their hold, their tears stained Tealās side as the water kept coming out of their visor, then Coral was pushed away by Teal as they gripped by their sides.
āDonāt you EVER say that again !ā Teal glared hard at Coral āIt WASNāT your fault, YOU did your best, YOU kept them safe from the start, you SURVIVED and came BACK !ā
Tears started flowing heavier from Tealās visor āYou came backā¦.ā They sat down and looked away from Coral āIt wouldāve been so easyā¦so easy to justā¦notā
Silence draped around them, Coral didnāt know what to say, it wasnāt like they hadnāt thought about itāthey did, but the fact Teal had considered Coral would do it may haveā
āYou came back for your team, even if itās just oneā¦ā Teal looked up at Coral and smiled āIām very grateful for you, Coralā
āOkay thatās enough emotions for nowā Coral pulled back from the hug Teal had given them once more.
They sat in silence again, a bit awkward that both of them are quite emotionally vulnerable now, then Teal perked up.
