Inktober Day 15: Outpost. At the edges of the territory mice, bees, starlings, and a small coalition of other rodents and birds call home, petrified telephone poles are used as outposts and watchtowers to detect any incoming dangers from the Wastes.

Bats are widespread throughout the lands around the Wastes, though the majority inhabit the upper caverns of Dirt, City of Rats. It is an unspoken rule that any insects that so much as crest the top of a building in Dirt risk becoming a meal for these unpredictable and high strung residents.
