When faced with either editing more photos for this weeks drop (7/24 @ 5pm ET) or taking a several hours to figure out how to make a tiny stop motion video to introduce the new lemon and lime cows, the choice was clear which was more important
When it’s time to take out the fine china 👌🐴
These guys will be in the 7/24 drop at 5 pm ET!
All the birdie planter stakes that will be in the 7/24 drop at 5pm ET!
There will be Rufous hummingbirds in addition to the ruby throated friends, and a few variations of chick chocks.

Hi Hydra, and hi Hydra’s Przewalskis! I just discovered your wonderful work. It looks like you do periodic releases and then announce them, and then sell out of your creations really quickly. If this is so… do you prefer to just work on whatever comes to your imagination at the time? Or do like to have suggestions and create what people resonate with? Or somewhere in between? What is the connection between your muse and your public? With love, a tiny piece of your public.
Hello and thank you so much for this ask! So in asking you summed it up really well. It is precisely somewhere in between. There are lots of critters and creations that I come up with and have a great time trying out, some of which resonate really well with my audience, but people's suggestions are literally essential to me. Sometimes my brain doesn't even consider a particular animal until a person asks. Or I need people to request octopi multiple times before I realize I actually can make an eight legged guy. Because I am all over the place with the variety of creatures I churn out, I break my drops into loose themes and repeat designs that I enjoy/ people request or miss from a previous drop, while peppering in new things. I am extremely fortunate for being able to do this. I follow so many amazing artists and sometimes envy how they stay in, not a singular lane by any means, but have very distinct themes they stick to with their work. Meanwhile I jump from Baldur's Gate 3, to tiny chickens, to dragons, to shark tea light holders, to painting Pokemon on Game boy charms. That being said, I LOVE that I can do that, and that is all thanks people like you that find these lil guys and follow along. So thank you very much for the kind words, and like all asks where I go off, thank you if you read the ramble.
Next shop drop in two weeks! Friday July 24th at 5pm ET. I am also setting up an email list. If you go to my website a pop up will prompt you for an email submission and if you miss that just scroll down on my home page if you’d like an email reminder in about a week before the drop! As always will be posting all the little cow/horse/birbs and other friends that will be in this farm-ish themed drop as we get closer.
Another Thursday another little throwback, this time for cows. Truly my cow designs hasn't changed terribly much other than reigning in those ears over the years 😅.
Have been seeing so much amazing ancient horse art for this year of the horse and finally am getting around to some teeny Przewalski’s of my own 🐴
Fox figurines over the years, with the top one being made a couple weeks ago, and the bottom one 11 years ago 🤯. It is nice to put into perspective that progress isn't linear, but it sure does happen.
Transformation from not shiny to shiny!
Thanks again for the people who requested magpies. They’ll be in this month’s shop drop!
When I get my act together I’ll get a date for said drop 😅 and even a way to sign up for an email newsletter as a reminder.
Expanding the back yard bird selection. Also realized I’ve failed to show the tiny peets on the birds I’ve recently started adding.
Phoebe and Blue Bird Watercolor A quick little Father's Day watercolor card. My Dad put up a blue bird house and in addition to the pair of Pheobes that come back every year to a small nest in the wood shed, a blue bird has started hanging around the farm.
Why are chickadees the best 🐦😭
Some shots of my mother and I’s work that’s being featured in the window at the Maine Potter’s Market this month. My mother is 110% the reason I am doing pottery in any kind of professional capacity and you can find her and her equally whimsical work across socials at Maple Lane Pottery.
