they’re actually one of the few lesser demons that don’t have eyes in their real form. don’t ask them why! they have no idea. it doesn’t really make much of a difference downstairs, of course, when horror is less focused on what you can see (the darkness is visible anyway), but what you do / what’s done to you / what you feel.
