in other news because i feel all i've talked to tumblr about recently has been sex i've finished the third book from the percy jackson series and it was so good but i just wanted to say that i have some headcannons and they are that aphrodite is laverne cox, and zoe is amandla stenberg, and poseidon is pedro pascal and they're the only ones i remember right now but i'm loving it so much i can't wait to get to the next books!!!

its lovely :)
thanks :)
so i started listening to the lightning thief and i'm about two thirds of the way through and wow it's really really good!!! (kinda maybe spoilerish sorry??) i love love love the three main character they are so loveable and they kinda make me feel really nostalgic for back when i was a huge potter fan but i love all three of them. i'm loving learning about greek mythology and stuff but i literally picture all the gods to be exactly like their disney's hercules portrayals and poseidon is just king triton, but then all the other characters i picture as like non-cartoon humans and it makes it a bit confusing but i think i like it. one of my main complaints so far tho are that the chapter titles kinda ruin a lot of plot points that would've been nice to, y'know, not be spoilt a few minutes before by the writer themselves. my other problem with the way it's written is that there's a lot of big hints or foreshadowing that are dropped throughout that also kinda ruins the surprise?? it'd be like "it's almost as if that person did this" and then a couple of minutes later you find out it was that, if that makes any sense?? i can't really tell if it is maybe because it's aimed at a younger audience, and is there to teach them to pick up on stuff and they read so that as they move onto more "advanced" works they can pick up on more subtle clues, or if it is just a bit clichéd. but it kinda made some things pretty anticlimactic. like, i felt that the medusa bit dragged on and on because i found it to be really obvious.
overall i'm really enjoying this whole adventure thing and i love the characters and who they're all interacting with eachother and i hope that the ending does end up surprising me in the end.

What I think about their blog: Great variety of Disney and other major animation studios like Dreamworks. Hayley’s blog is one of my absolute favourites! Plus she loves Percy Jackson so you really can’t go wrong with her. <3
