Today's polish is full of flakes! More specifically, it's got a blurple base with green, pink and magenta glass flakes. I was shocked by how smooth and opaque the formula was. I only needed two coats to get full opacity, although I did have to do some strategic flakey placement on a couple spots after the second coat. That's pretty normal with polishes like this though. I love how the finished manicure looked and the sun even made a brief appearance so I could get a picture of this one in direct light. 🌤️ This is Twinkling Vibes from Rogue Lacquer.

Today's polish is perfect for winter. ❄️😍 It's described by the maker as a prugly kahki-leaning peach with green to blue shimmer and holo flakes. I don't know what they heck they're talking about though, because there's nothing prugly about this polish. Even though the base is really sheer, it is so packed with shimmer and holo that it was completely opaque in 2 coats. It looked gorgeous in every kind of lighting, but the holo made it especially beautiful in the sun. This is Pretty Ugly from Rogue Lacquer.

Today's polish comes with some Valentine's Day stamping nail art! ☺️ The base polish is a white crelly. This maker isn't known for their plain crelly polishes so I was very curious to see how the formula was and I really liked it. I needed a nail line blurring base coat, but with that it looked perfect in two coats. I love how soft this white is as opposed to a white creme polish which can be chalky and stark. This is Marshmallow Fluff from Rogue Lacquer.

Today's manicure was one I really liked in spite of thinking I was going to hate it. 😬 At this point we all know I'm not a huge fan of pastel polishes, so when I got this green as a mystery prototype, it sat in my untrieds for over 3 years. 😂 But today was its day! I have no official description, but what I'm seeing is a pale green crelly base with multicolored iridescent microflakes. By itself I didn't like it and thought I would destash it so someone who enjoys pastels could have it, but I decided to put a topper on it first. As far as chunky glitter toppers go, this one was pretty easy to work with. I had to fish some and do some individual placement, but that's normal with this kind of polish. It also had some scattered holo glitter and I loved the extra sparkle. The flower glitters laid nice and flat so there was barely any texture after a single coat of topcoat. Once the topper was on it I was surprised by how much I liked it! So all in all, a great spring mani for someone who hates spring manis. 😂 This is Garden Party Taco from Holo Taco over Proto Batch F from Rogue Lacquer.

Today's polish for me is riding that fine line between great and gross. 😂 First let's talk about the purple base color. It's advertised as a crelly, but it performed more like a cream. In one coat it was super streaky and uneven and in two coats it was fully opaque with no squishyness at all. And the multichrome crackle topper had a super thick formula. The green to gold to red multichrome shift in the topper was incredible though. I would like to try it again, although next time I'd put it over a different color. I wanted something dark that wasn't black and I thought this purple would fit the bill, but I wasn't happy with how these two looked together. What color would you pair with this? Today's polish is inspired by Beetlejuice, which is perfect for Halloween. 😈👻🎃 It's got a grey crelly base with green and purple glass flakes and lime and black metallic flakes. I included a close up on one of my nails so you can see the kaleidescope of colors in there. In the shade, those green glass flakes looked like they were glowing and in the sun the purple glass flakes were so bright! It surprised me how much I ended up lovint this one. I'm already looking forward to wearing it for Halloween next year. This is It's Show Time! from Rogue Lacquer.

Today's polish is also a matching mani with @lesmotsdemoi! 😁🌲❄️🍬🌟 The base polish looked very green in the bottle, but it looked more teal leaning on my nails. Regardless, I think it worked great under these ornaments. I had a fun time making this one and slowly but surely, I'm getting better at reverse stamping. This is What the Elf from Rogue Lacquer.
