People died, on purpose, on accident, with futures and families, alone and together. Lena knew this. She knew about the innocents that simply wanted to go about their day, the terrorists that found peace in killing dozens, the ‘bots that just wanted rights and the humans that tore down their movements on purpose. Lena knew about it all, had seen it firsthand and still refused to allow it to destroy her. Some days, though, the world’s evil grew to be too much. It was days like these that Lena found herself atop one of the many roofs on the base, contemplating the horizon and the peace it held. She was jealous. It was a spiral that Lena fought almost daily. Rarely it grabbed her, but today it had. Unfortunately, the presence of her friends would be the only thing that could drag her from this pit, and yet she worked so hard to save them from her toxic moods. The deliverance of a small, black and white kitten though had her perked up. Lena briefly glanced up at the deliverer, offering him a small smile. Perhaps he understood her angst. No matter what, the small animal took some of the weight from her shoulders. “Hey there, buddy.” Lena crossed her legs, holding the kitten close. “How’re ya?”

I really love tea and drink a lot of it, mostly earl grey or other spiced stuff. Genmaicha is a favorite but harder to get my hands on so I hoard it.
My household isn’t blood related see, but we’re family and one family member and I LOVE tea and coffee. Like. We would be described as tea and coffee snobs easy >.> but everyone in the house lives off of coffee and bad decisions so the answer, really is: Coffee more often than not because it’s most available at all hours.
