     “ ARE YOU AND YOUR EGO DONE, NOW? ”   the words cut the air like a knife, nearly spat out at him like a poison from her red lips. the woman’s jaw has locked tight and her eyes look as if they could cause a planet to explode. ever since the general asked the two of them to work together, it had been nothing but a fight for leader. both of them were skilled and intelligent, yet refused to acknowledge the other as an equal. many of the other rebel soldiers were beginning to question why the general put the two biggest hot heads on the same team.

     once he finally looks at her, the woman continues,   “ your plan is going to get everyone killed, including the innocent people. so, for once, can you let someone else come up with an idea so we aren’t all in graves? ”   others have no cleared out the area, not wanting to be roped into the argument ; although, some of them were watching from a distance.

     “ i have a plan that will actually work. ”

Back story:Saasa was a poor girl, born to a poor family on Shili. From an early age she had showed interest in pregnancy and the delivery of children, still a toddler when she helped her own mother deliver some of her siblings. As time passed, she became astounding and at knowing the sex of a child before it was even born. Soon, not just her mother and older sisters were asking her opinion on their babies. Without fail, every time, it had been proven to be accurate. Within her little village, she became quite the attraction, even some from neighbouring villages visiting for her opinion.

When Duchess Sheda Ti fell pregnant, she had heard such rumours and became intrigued. To her it was important she had a daughter, and she didn’t have the patience to wait until she delivered. She demanded Saasa was brought to her, to oversee her entire pregnancy and delivery. The Duchess needed to know if this young woman was simply telling her what she wanted to hear, or if she was being honest. Once Shaak was born, there was nothing short of a celebration regarding the birth of an heiress, little known to them at the time she’d be handed off to the Jedi before her fifth birthday.

Saasa loved Shaak more as a daughter then her own mother did at times. It was painful to give her up to the Jedi, but she knew it was what was best. Finding out the death of the Jedi nearly gave her a heart attack, she was completely grief stricken. Being reunited with her was phenomenal before she left for a vagabond life style. Once Nubraa was born, Saasa saw Shaak in him in every aspect. She swore her life to protecting the boy, going as far to joining the rebel alliance with him.

      “Noo, I don’t have a crush on anyone.”

      Despite her saying this, the one and expression she carried said something entirely different. Normally dark blue lekku stripes faded to a much brighter purple, and a faint blue blush also flushed on her cheek. She never grinned nearly as wide when with anyone but him, and sometimes she giggled a lot more then when anyone else spoke to her. The young Togruta was quite smitten, but for one so little, she still had some sense of pride.

      “You’re not that old, you’re not as old as my mom. And that’s if I had a crush on you, and I don’t. I have my future to worry ‘bout, not crushes.”

It's my turn for a kiss.

      “Cassian! Cassian!”

        Excited chirps could be heard from a mile away, the little Togruta was beyond thrilled with the news that her favourite spy was back. He treated her like a real princess, he would even hold her hand like a proper gentleman and everything. No matter how much she promised to be quiet and behave and not hiss at Kaytoo, she had to stay at home. To say she sulked the entire time he was gone was possibly the biggest understatement of the galaxy, as he was gone longer then normal and it was starting to worry her. But, now he was back, so she wasn’t sulking anymore.

         As soon as he knelt down to be on her level, Shaak threw her arms around his neck in an incredibly tight hug. Little dimples were pressed into her cheeks as she grinned, a kiss was smushed into his cheek as an incredibly loud purr radiated from her chest.

      “My hero.” She purred, gently nuzzling her face into his neck.

     SHE WAS NERVOUS. it was clear with the way she was moving through the command center, hands clinging to the datapad that was pressed close to her chest. places that were crowded and loud were not exactly something that the woman enjoyed but something was being asked of her, so she had to. a few more steps before she reached the man in question, clearing her throat slightly.

     “ ahem, excuse me, captain andor? ”   alorré spoke softly, waiting for him to turn around.   “ um, the general wanted me to bring you this datapad. it has intel on the planet you’re heading to. ”

           Admittedly, she was still getting used to have her affection reciprocated. That was her excuse as to why her heart seemed to just flutter in her chest, racing fast enough she felt as if it was going to burst. Cheeks burned hard, montrals and lekku flushing to match. Her hands were nervously pressed to her chest, ever so gently pressing just a little bit into the kiss.
