What would you say is the love language of each member of your Rokrew?
(Your writing/art on them is awesome).
Ooo this is a great question!! (also ty :3)
Roku’s love language is 100% receiving gifts; this doesn’t make him a material person, though. In canon itself, we see that he treasures what his loved ones give him (considering he wears the headpiece Sozin gives him even in the afterlife I think says a lot) Even if the gift he receives is something small, he’s grateful for it all the same. He’s definitely a ‘it’s the thought that counts’ kind of guy.
For Ta Min, I feel her love language is physical touch. This is purely based on vibes but for her loved ones I can totally see her initiating physical contact whenever possible, even if it’s something as small as laying/sitting shoulder to shoulder. Since early on she serves as a diplomat to Omashu, she doesn’t see her loved ones as often, making her value any contact she can get with them (even when traveling with the rest of the Rokrew she’s often seen either cuddling up or holding hands with at least someone)
This is another partially-based-on-canon (ish) one, but Gyatso’s love language has to be quality time. Nothing makes him happier than sharing experiences with his loved ones, and he especially loves looking back on them (and teasing whoever he was with lol). From the flashbacks in ATLA, we see him spending a lot of time (most of his screentime afaik) with Aang, throwing fruit pies and playing pai sho. It’s all about making memories for him.
Actions can speak louder for words, and for Sud, that’s definitely the case; his love language is acts of service, in both how he acts and he likes to receive affection! He’s stubborn, usually always on the go, and as such has quite a lot on his plate, wanting to be someone that his loved ones can rely on. Even so, it always stuns him when his loved ones choose to carry some of the burden.
Makittuq’s love language is words of affirmation; hearing verbal confirmation that her loved ones value her go a long way. What her loved ones say mean a lot to her, both positive and negative. She appreciates it when her loved ones are upfront with her. She does easily fluster when complimented (even though it makes her heart soar :) )
This was a really fun question! I do feel like there are some overlaps (because that’s how people work lol) but I feel like these love languages work really well for the Rokrew, even individually assigned!
Thank you so much for the ask!!! <3
Thanks for your ask today, Viv.
What do each member of the Rokrew think of pineapple on pizza?
(I guess this is a modern AU).
RIRI!!!
This is such a fun question LMFAO. I bet that, Gyatso would be the instigator. It is my sincere belief that he would at first ironically enjoy it without trying, then when he does absolutely loves it, especially if the others are grossed out. My ragebait ICON
Ta Min, Roku, & Makittuq would be on the fence at first lol. Ta Min I could see her either really enjoying it (to her absolute surprise) or not caring for it at all. Lowkey see her as the type of person to not care for the mix of sweet/savory. Depends on how it’s prepared, I’d say.
Roku would like it I feel in tandem with spicy/smoky toppings to balance out the sweet. (and I’m just realizing the irony of Roku being the one prefer a balanced flavor profile lmfao)
Unironically I get the vibe that Makittuq would not only love pineapple on pizza, but would put all kinds of fun toppings on hers, a flavor beyond the simple ‘sweet and savory’. A secret third thing, if you will.
Sud is 100% against pineapple on pizza and thinks it’s nasty. No one is changing his mind. Bro is stubborn as hellllll (and falls for gyatso’s ragebait every time). He almost vomited the first time he saw Makittuq put moon peaches on her pizza (and yes that’s a surprisingly common thing! Saw some recipes online of people doing peaches & balsamic vinaigrette glaze and unironically that sounds absolutely heavenly.)
Thank you for the ask!!! <3
