My 25 D&D Rules of Conduct
1. You do not talk about D&D club 2. You DO NOT talk about D&D club 3. If you have problem or criticism with my DMing, just tell me it after play 4. You MUST get your own dice (within a reasonable time) 5. Player vs Player conflict is allowed, when applicable and appropriate 6. You cheat, you leave. No coming back, ever. 7. Roll all dice in front of your DM or within sight of another player 8. No in-character vulgarity of non-essential form 9. Subjects of Rape WILL NOT be discussed 10. I have last say on rules, if I made a mistake then tell me afterwards. I'll make a note for next time 11. Do not mess around on your phone when it isn't your turn in-combat. Please ignore your phone during play, in-general, unless absolutely necessary 12. Don't roll your dice absent-mindedly, if you roll then you take that result 13. If the dice you rolled is cocked, get the other player to confirm before you roll again 14. The table is neutral, no arguing beside, over or near the table 15. If you have information that either the players or their characters do not, keep it to yourself. Let them experience it all for the first time, or figure it out. If you could inform them in-game, then you may do so 16. You are responsible for your character, and while the DM knows all your stuff, you should know better 17. NO creating character "clones", when and if you die, you cannot recreate your character so as to continue playing them through another name 18. If you don't know what to do on your turn, take action anyway. Don't wait up the line: think about what you're going to do while everyone else is taking their turn 19. Do not kill for XP alone, get into useless fights or murder out of boredom- killing mercilessly, unscrupulously and impulsively will get you dead fast 20. Romance is encouraged, but romantic deeds will go no further than the closing of the door 21. You DO NOT skip religious services or important routines for this 22. You DO NOT overlook family, educational, employment or spiritual obligations for this 23. If at any point you feel this interferes with your conscience, let me know and if I can do anything I will. Otherwise just leave the group, it's only a hobby 24. If you do not conduct yourself well or there comes into serious public question of your stability, your character will be pulled and saved, with your removal from the group being immediate and permanent until the action or behavior is corrected. 25. If at any point I hear you’ve skipped out on therapy appointments, stopped taking any necessary meds or have been involved in unscrupulous activities you will be removed until I can confirm with you personally the reasons behind the questionable activity.
