Honestly I agree with the anon who called tumblr a bunch of hypocrites. No one is forcing you to RP with an OC, absolute NO ONE, but the anon does have a valid point when s/he says that canon characters don't give OCs the time of day. I'm fine with a canon character not wanting to RP with my OC, but I need a valid reason other than "WELL, I'm not OC friendly because I'm assuming all OCs are half-assed and underdeveloped". I've seen it happen time after time.

I never said I don't think it should be allowed. What I'm trying to say is don't bash a blog. There are people with emotions behind them. Be careful with how you word things.

I think it's a slippery slope for you to allow the negative. When voiced in a public forum, and then reblogged by everyone and their uncle who don't know the situation or the motives behind the critique, it could become an attack. If it becomes an attack, you could be said to have facilitated it. Check the TOS and be very, very careful. I like this blog too much to see someone get hurt over it and blame you guys.

I think allowing all types of confessions would be a good idea. Sometimes crit is hard to give other RPers. If it isn't outright hate, I think we should be allowed to confess what we want, and if someone doesn't like a confession about themselves personally they should ask for it to be removed.

I think you should try it. Most rpers ask for crit anyway and as long as it isn't outright hate there shouldn't be anything wrong with it. This is a confessions blog after all and I do agree that we should be able to confess everything and not just the good. "omg i love roleplayerA they're so amazing" only strokes egos.

This in response to that anon you just posted. I think that if anyone has issues with another roleplayer they should talk to them privately and not say anything publicly. You don't want there to be anger from other people or people to feel hurt, so.

I wish we could confess anything that we wanted to here. Not just the good things about roleplayers but the bad as well. Like all of our opinions instead of just shoutouts soley praising other rpers. What about criticism or the nitty-gritty opinions?

I have considered opening up confessions for all types of submissions, including the ones that would potentially hurt people's feelings. ( Though there are some that do already. ) But... I don't know. There would be a considerable amount of backlash if people were able to give the entirety of their opinions and not just the good about other roleplayers. Critique can be good and helpful, but I feel that people could abuse that right to bash them as well. 

The same can be said of these 'nitty gritty' (unpopular?) opinions. 

So... I'm going to leave this open for discussion.

I saw the post about location trackers reducing hate mail, I just wanted to make sure everyone was aware that it doesn't track when the user is on a cell phone.
