Standing up quickly, she turned herself towards her map behind her above the window, causing her chair to move back with a sharp scrapping sound. Her soft violet eyes strategically scanned the map and it fell on Whitebrim Front.
The name that was given was unfamiliar to her, and was most likely a fake. And the “riddle” for the location was not at all clever as both names were the first to be read.
“How unoriginal.” she breathed rolling her eyes at the parchment.
Tapping the letter on her chin, the simple apothecary Elezen contemplated whether or not to take the request. The money would help her with her traveling expenses to her usual house calls and she had just desperately reached for the forbidden box. It had been a long time since she had a call like this, and it was more gil than any others in a long while. Her mind was battling itself for a good while, though in the end she knew the money was too good to pass up.
Aylawen sauntered towards the large fireplace and tossed the letter in the fire, then towards the black box with the engravings. Within was a complete fully black outfit consisting of a long robe, elbow high gloves with claws, trousers, long boots, and a menacing full face mask.
“Welcome back into the light, Mistress Vervain.” she whispered as she looked at the mask. “Shall we begin our journey to the forbidden snowy wastes?”
