Christmas Not Just Once a Year (1970)
ICH LIEBE DICH, ICH TÖTE DICH (1971) dir. Uwe Brandner Set in the near future, Brandner's village is populated by emotionless citizens, kept in place with pills and pleasures. Once a year the wealthy people arrive to hunt in a nearby area, where the villagers are never allowed. One day a new citizen, the Teacher, begins hunting illegally out of a simple desire to do something different. A strange gamekeeper, the Hunter, spots him. Undeniably attracted to each other, they start an affair and attempt to stage an uprising. (link in title)
