Imagine Padme was a Jedi. Do you think she and Anakin would have still gotten together? Or would having a relationship be too big of a hurdle for Padme?
I think it would have been drastically different.
I like to think, for instance, that if Padme had been a Jedi, Anakin would have been the Senator from Tatooine (because it’s FUN!). And he’s still enormously Force Sensitive (and scares the bejesus out of the Jedi), but was not found as a child by Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan. So he headed off the slave revolt...which he was a little too successful at, and was voted to the Galactic Senate.
So Padme constantly is assigned to protect Anakin when he gets in trouble and makes political enemies who want him dead. So there winds up being a ton of sexual tension.
That I think both does and does not get acted on. Jedi can still have sex after all. So like. That happens. A bunch.
A whole bunch.
But they don’t get married. I always picture their marriage in canon being Padme’s idea. I don’t think Anakin - a former slave - would ever consider marriage an option (property wasn’t allowed to marry). So if Padme is a Jedi and never brings it up, Anakin - even this Anakin - certainly won’t.
But she does love him. She just...can’t admit it.
I think it winds up being a lot like Obi-Wan and Satine’s situation.
...of course, it’s harder for Padme to hide the whole “pregnant with twins and also a Jedi and kriff, what do I do now?!” So...
