Back in 1987, I had left newspaper work to freelance for magazines, corporations, and higher education projects. One of the first places I called on was Montclair State, which was a College at the time. I began photographing regularly and in 1992 I met a guy who has become a truly wonderful friend, and one of the most caring and generous people I know.
