the egg is cooked it's fried sunny side up so that the whites are cooked and the yolk is runny and i have no idea why the picture has untoasted bread. also it's generally better with cheese and spices on it.

the whites still look semi-translucent to me tbh like i’d fry that thing longer

there was a version of that ts post that talked about the intricacies of merch design and the chinese sell and resell market but i mean the fact that her design and pr teams overlooked this was kinda lazy and that version didn't ignore that either

i’d like to read that version if you can find it – it’s one of those situations where i honestly don’t blame the celebrity but it had to go through a series of acceptance checks, and i just can’t believe someone didn’t say “wait a minute” during that process. it’s like when fall out boy had i think a culturally appropriative t-shirt and patrick stump said he wasn’t aware of it and asked it to be removed from stores, but like, is that really true, did he not know? don’t the celebrities have to accept or veto these ideas being put on the table that will define their label and music? like it’s her name and face that’s gonna be associated with those products; that bad press and culturally inconsiderate advertising are what her fans in china are now going to associate with her image, no matter how much it was or wasn’t her fault when they were sitting in their offices deciding this in the usa.
