Shelly Benda and Pundao from "Roller Coaster The Series" Thai Update delivered an unforgettable acoustic duet session on November 21, 2025, for Part 2 of their 5-part live series. The intimate performance showcased the pair's musical chemistry as they navigated through multiple Thai ballads together. Despite admitting exhaustion and sleepiness, the duo persevered through challenging key changes and chord progressions, with moments of playful banter as they forgot lyrics and searched for the right notes. Shelly took the lead on guitar while both vocalists harmonized beautifully on "Roller Coaster" song about journeying through life with someone special by your side.

RollerCoaster Rewatch thoughts

Overview 

I’m not normally into love triangles, but damnn Roller Coaster had me hooked 

All three characters have gamee, they’re all charming, and know how to flirt (that’s pretty unique in Thai gl for now)

On top of being charismatic, all three of them have crazy chemistry with each other (hell even Loft & Air) 

The acting & storyline flow really well, the lighting & cinematography goes crazy, the OSTs are really cool too

Pretty great representation with like the least amount of romanticizing harassment/NC traits for Thai gl so far (a couple other gls airing in 2025 are doing better with that)

Also no redemption for the shitty parent(s) + the parents aren’t homophobic (that’s unique in Thai gl for now)

RCTS Episode 1 Pt.3 (spoilers)

Pure’s parents divorcing was super interesting; her parents are normal & super supportive of her. Cool to see they ended things amicably (unique in Thai gl so far)

I was wondering why they had an arc about Pure’s parents divorcing & then never brought it up again, but upon rewatch I think it’s supposed to represent how Pure needed to realize as much as you want to be a “entire-life couple” sometimes you need to end the relationship bc it isn’t working anymore / wasn’t meant to be. (Idk if that was obvious to anyone else). 

Introduced to Loft & Lamps brother/sister relationship -> super refreshing to see another pair with supportive sibling relationships, their banter was funny (of the GLs I’ve watched Us the Series had a good sib bond mostly)

Loft tracking down Pure’s art studio: cue the super cute flirting scenes but also them getting to know each other more (lol opposite type food orders) 

LoftPure gazes to each other like damnnn attraction vibes everywhere 

Start of Loft providing what Pure is missing / not getting from Air rn -> when P is with L, she doesn’t have to be strong all the time

RCTS Episode 1 Pt.4 (spoilers)

Hilarious how dramatically Pure saves her from those empty water bottles 

Also hand placement during that scene was top notch & it’s one of the few moments we see Pure control/leading (wanted to see more)

Love the scenes when Loft and Air are hanging out, cuz that’s a cute relationship. Air is probs super happy to be close with Loft cuz that’s the only family member she can trust/rely on (she isn’t going to do that with Lamp)
