After being hassled by Fiona and Bianca for a good part of her day, Imogen was glad school was finally over. She'd only been able to talk to Jake in class, considering how her two curly haired friends had decided to build a proverbial Great Wall between her and Jake out of concern for the break up. It wasn't that she wasn't sad. She was, but mostly, all she'd felt was guilt. And considering she and Jake hadn't so much as talked via a text message since Saturday night, she'd had a long time to think about the Luke thing - something she wanted to push from her mind. She was with Jake. She was exactly where she wanted to be all along, so to speak.
He had texted her to meet him out by his garden after school ended, and with a quick goodbye from her friends, she left the building and sneakily made her way to his green house where she could see him leaning against the entry door, staring at a joint.
"So are you going to smoke that thing? Or are you trying to use that troll brain of yours to set it on fire?" She asked him teasingly, though stared at it warily. Against her own wishes, seeing that made her second guess her judgement. While Luke had been far from perfect, he was still... He came with less of a risk than Jake.
Still, the last thing she wanted to do was upset her now-boyfriend before they even began and painted on a smile, keeping her eyes into his.
