I was reading my beloved book on flower language and now I'm here feeling all excited about nothing :))))

I know I'm reading way too much into it and flower language differs from one country to another but-

His outfit does display lots of lilies BUT Fleur de lys as well !!

If I stretch the theory further, golden could be swapped for yellow since is not naturally possible in flowers, contrast of falsehood/gaiety, loss innocence and scheming But if we consider it's the classic white lilies, purity + flame = burning it all, puryfying fire, to rid the world of magic.
