A Brief Introduction to the Game "Shararam"
"Shararam" is the largest Russian browser-based MMO game based on the animated series "Kikoriki". It was released in late 2008 and has become an integral part of the Kikoriki fan community.
The game's history is divided into two major periods: Old Shararam (2008-2012) and New Shararam. Beginning with the New Shararam period, a division between rich and poor players began. Donations, moderator abuse, and other problems began to displease ordinary players. Protests such as the "Шарарамский Марш Миллионов" began to emerge.
The game's player base is divided into two types: regular players and roleplayers. The former play purely for the sake of socializing and bragging rights through donations, while the latter star in music videos, organize cruises and flights, stage performances and concerts in clubs (yes, Shararam has an entire club system), and so on. Players are even divided into warring factions. The most famous of these factions are the "Kids" and the "Anti-Kids."
Also, the official Kikoriki website had a forum that appeared long before Shararam. It became home to numerous role-playing games and spammers. All that remains of the old Kikoriki Land is a system of personal pages, something akin to a social network. Various funny stories from the lives of Shararam players are posted there, for example, stories from a player nicknamed "вава6666666".
