the nomufication on shirakumo has been reversed, but he remembers everything, and it would be a dangerous game to just let him go. AFO keeps him. the wounds of the past don’t just leave. it's illogical to think that the past won't affect the future. in shirakumo, there's always a deep fear that things will go back to how they were. AFO can only give him space and put him back together again.
shirakumo is jumpy around him. if AFO dares to raise his hand suddenly around him, he lurches away so fast that it makes him dizzy. the domestic life, being in relative peace, isn’t like them. the aren’t used to it one bit.
