Remus walked into a small room which already had a few people in it who also looked new, along with the choir and choir director, He was one of the few people who auditioned and got in, he didn’t know anybody here and he stood awkwardly in the corner for most of it, it looked as if some people already had their own groups but he was alone in the corner, he was tempted to take out his phone and distract himself but he thought he should pay attention for the the Choir director says something, he played with the end of the zipper on his jacket anxiously as he noticed someone make eye contact with him, they said something to their friends and started walking toward Remus who’s heart was beating fast as they walked closer “Hello!” they said suddenly when the stopped in front of Remus who was trying not to back into the corner more, he waved his hand shakily “H-Hi” he stuttered “My name is Emile!” they said softly before they noticed Remus shaking slightly “oh goodness, are you okay?” they asked worriedly, Remus tried to stop shaking and nodded but Emile didn't believe him “Did i scare you? Oh gosh I’m Sorry” they said quickly as they stepped back a bit to give him more space, Remus noticed them try to make him more comfortable which helped him relax slightly “s-Sorry.. I’ve just n-never done this before…” Remus replied as he stopped shaking a bit more, Emile smiled warmly “okay, that is fine! Do you need someone to talk to? Cause I’m here if you need me” they told him reassuringly, Remus smiled slightly “Thanks” he said as he finally relaxed, Emile held his hand “Lets try this again” he said happily “I’m Emile Picani, i go by They/them and He/Him pronouns, what’s your name?” they asked softly as Remus reached out to shake their hand “I’m Remus uh, Storm, but my friends call me Remy” he said as he calmed down, Emile’s eyes widened in excitement “That’s a wonderful name!” Remus felt more comfortable talking with Emile “What Section are you in?” he asked suddenly, Emile smiled “I’m a tenor” he replied, Remus sighed in relief “I’m a tenor too” he said and saw Emile’s face light up with happiness “Yay! Tenor buddies!” he said before Giggling and adjusting his glasses, Remus heard him giggling and he froze “oh shit- they’re cute” he thought to himself as Emile looked at him, he was lost in thought until he heard the Choir director call everybody “Alright! Everyone, we will be playing some games to get to know eachother better, so if you could please form a circle, Remus smirked and silently whispered “but I’m homeschooled” before hearing a Few other people Call out “But I’m homeschooled” and laugh, Remus’s eyes widened and guessed that those people are already in the Choir as the others brushed it off, he stood beside Emile in the circle and the started playing some games.

They had finished playing the games “Okay! Thank you all for coming, and we’ll see you next week for our first rehearsal!” Remus heard the Choir director call and he smiled, he was much more relaxed than before, he started to walk toward the door when he heard Emile call his name “hey! I was wondering, could I have your number? So we could talk not only at rehearsals?” Remus Blushed at how they phrased it, he turned around and looked at Emile “Oh! Sure!” he replied happily, trying to stay calm as Emile unlocked their phone and handed it to Remus, he quickly wrote his phone number into their contacts and gave the phone back “Thanks Remy! I’ll text you later” he said happily, Remus smiled and turned around again “Bye!” he called before walking away and heading home on his bike

He parked his bike on the sidewalk beside his house and opened the door “Dad! I’m Home!” he called while taking off his shoes and walking toward the couch, he saw his dad in the kitchen who was cooking dinner, he looked up “Hey Remus!” he said happily while setting a pan down on the stove and running up to him “How was it?” he asked while giving him a big hug “Uh, it was good!” he said as they stopped hugging and he looked at his Dad, they both heard footsteps come toward the “Did you meet any cute Boys?” He asked with a smirk “Dad!” Remus said at the same time as his father said “Virgil!” Virgil looked at them “What! I’m just asking” he said, Remus laughed softly and looked at Virgil “well, I actually Did” he Confessed, Virgil Smiled “Hell Yeah! I told you he would Roman!” he Called teasingly as he held out his and, Roman Sighed and pulled out a twenty dollar bill, Remus Gasped “Did you make a bet!” he Asked suddenly, Virgil laughed and nodded “Yes, I suspected you would meet someone but your Father here believed you wouldn’t so we placed a bet” He said triumphantly, Remus groaned “Your such idiots” he said sarcastically, Roman Gasped dramatically “Remus Finnigan Storm!” he said before laughed loudly along with Virgil who was snickering, Roman sighed and turned around and headed to the kitchen “Dinner will be ready in a few minutes!” he called, Remus smiled and turned to his Dad who was poking him gently “How cute was he?” he asked suddenly, Remus laughed “They actually go by They/them and He/him pronouns” he Explained, Virgil nodded “okay, Tell me what happened today” He said as they walked to the couch and sat down as Remus started to Explain what happened
