An Iranian green-card-holding family offered to relocate to Türkiye, but court filings show DHS rejected the proposal.
"Lawful permanent U.S. residents Seyed Eissa Hashemi, his wife, Maryam Tahmasebi, and their 16-year-old son have spent more than three months in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody since their arrests in April, attorneys said.
They continue to be held, despite offering to fund their voluntary departure from the United States to relocate in Türkiye.

In Johnson County, Texas, police officers fixated on a woman suspected of having an abortion, and used the database to track her movements in an effort to prove it — even though state law is supposed to exempt the patient from criminal prosecution. Police have been outed for using the cameras to stalk people for personal reasons, such as having a conflict — or even a sexual obsession — with them.

ICE plans to outfit officers with electric shock gloves
Demonstrations of the gloves in use appear to show it inflicting pain. The Instagram page for Compliant Technologies is filled with videos of police officers being subjected to the glove in demonstrations. Many of them grimace or yell, and almost all of them fall to the ground.
Tasers for your hands.
Remember scenes of officers casually walking along a line of protesters hosing them down with pepper spray? That, but now they just touch you and you collapse like a sack of potatoes writhing in pain.
No more complaints about filling the neighborhood with chemical irritants either. Very clean, very sanitary, very fascist.
