Hey everyone!
I’m Roman. I’ve lived in more than 21 cities in 6 states, and currently reside in northern Virginia, near Washington, DC. Some of you might remember me from my posts about my attempts to escape from an abusive environment in January 2017 and then again (successfully) in September 2019.
As a chronically ill person in a household full of other chronically ill people, I quit my job in retail shortly before we were put under lockdown due to the pandemic. After buying some much-needed furniture and a few odds and ends, I’ve now run through all of my savings.
Some places are lifting restrictions now, but we’re still a house full of compromised bodies, and we’re expecting the second wave to be worse - which means it still isn’t safe for me to go back to work. I’m applying to remote positions, but unfortunately, I don’t have the qualifications most places are looking for.
In the meantime, I’m putting some of my artwork up for sale on Society6, to try and make anything I can.
While we’re not in danger as of now, I want to help offset my cost of living and put some money back again, in case things continue to get worse.
