In Act 1 of Romeo and Juliet, we are introduced to the feud of the Montegue and Capulet families. We are also introduced to Romeo, a heartbroken teenager. His friend is trying to cheer him up by telling him to go to the Capulet feast, even thought he is a Montegue. He uses his own freewill and goes to the feast where he meets and falls in love with Juliet, a young teenager whose fate would prevent their relationship.
