"People liking the animals?" Roman asked as he made his way over to the booth, carrying over something from one of the booths serving refreshments. "Here I got you something to eat" he said, setting it down, pretty sure he hadn't seen them leave the booth since the whole thing had started.

Lucy had gone over to talk to some of the people she knew, as Roman had found a spot to sit for a moment. They made sure that Lu was still in view and range that he could quickly get to them if he saw they needed him. "Hey, can you move?" He asked as someone had come to stand in front of him, back turned towards him, so he couldn't really see who it was.

A nice breeze moved through the air as the end of the day started to wind down. People were selling off the last of what they had brought for the day, and some of the available attractions were going through their last rounds of people. Lines for the haunted houses having been cut off. Roman had snagged to cups of a warm pumpkin based drinks and a slice of pumpkin bread, and handed one of the cups to Lucy while pocketing the bread. As they walked they spotted the hayrides and took Lu's hand to head over in that direction. They were starting to pack up, and it took some convincing and a transfer of stolen ration cards, but eventually the man agreed to give them a ride. "We got a private ride" Roman grinned as he returned the few feet back over to Lu.

The woman working the booth was distracted by another customer who was asking about one of rings, and Roman took this opportunity to discreetly palm and then pocket one of the necklaces. One that upon seeing it immediately knew he had to steal it for someone. He tried to ignore the possible reasons why he'd wanted to steal it for her specifically, rationalizing that it simply 'had her vibe.' As he turned to leave the booth he bumped right into someone.

“You haven't left this booth all day” Roman said as he picked up one of the carvings, turning it over in his hand before picking up another and doing the same. “I'm here to steal you to go get food.” he set the new carving down and lifted his gaze up to Lucy's face.
