Roman: “See? Perfect couch for relaxing, if you even can.”
Percy: “You think I can’t relax?”
Roman: “Simmon, buddy, pal, amigo...”
Roman: “I know you can’t.”
Percy: “Hey!”
Cham: “Why can’t that be the real reason?”
Roman: “Because I’ve literally known you for years and it never is with you.”
Percy: “Roman! This is not being nice!”
Roman: “I’m not wrong, am I?”
Cham: “...No.”
Roman: “See?!”
Percy: “Cham?”
Cham: “I realize this comes at an awkward time, believe me, but I wanted to ask you to dinner. To help get your mind off everything and help you relax. Just... a moment where you don’t have to be the on in charge.”
Percy: “I... I’ll think about it, okay?”
Percy: “...And we just don’t know anything about what’s going to happen to her right now.”
Roman: “That’s rough, buddy.”
Percy: “Sorry, I must be boring you, hogging the conversation.”
Roman: “Dude, you’re under more stress than any sane person should deal with. I’d be a real terrible friend if I didn’t at least let you vent.”
Percy: “I am glad we’re still friends.”
Roman: “Hey, you need at least one friend willing to beat your suitors off you if they turn out to be total creeps.”
Leo: “What in heaven’s name has gotten into all of you?! You’re all high school juniors, act like it!”
Gael: “W-well...”
Decker: “We kinda...”
Diadem: “Accidentally and independently...”
Tourmaline: *sigh* “All decided...”
Roman: “To ask Prism out...”
Cham: “At the same time.”
Percy: “You all want to date... Me?”
Percy: “I appreciate the backup, I have no idea what they want to talk about.”
Leo: “Hopefully something good, right? They all care about- ...Do you hear yelling?”
Percy: “That can’t be good. Let’s go.”
*Loud yelling and arguing, Tourmaline and Gael desperately trying to keep the peace.*
Percy: “Goodness!”
Leo: *deep inhale* “ENOUGH!!”
*silence*
Roman: “What makes you think I felt bad?”
Percy: “Uh, besides the fact you tried to let them walk? I felt bad the first time I decked him too. Figured I’d make sure you knew it’s not your fault he’s an ass who got himself a dumbass nickname.”
Roman: “...What nickname?”
Percy: “Deck-lan. Because I decked him so often.”
Roman: “Pffft.”
Percy: “It was middle school. No one thinks of good burns in middle school.”
