When was the last time you went on a date?

What has been your favorite date?

If you were planning the perfect date, what would it be?

Huh, I guess it’s been a while since we’ve been down this path… so alright then.

Uh… well I guess… uh… reasonably recently. Was just a casual thing, just drinks, barely even a date to be honest, was just chatting and a glass of wine and finding out a bit about each other outside of a work context. No big deal but I suppose most people would say it was a date in a technical sense.

If you mean purely the date activity rather than the meaningfulness or the person then… Heh, probably the time I went to a theme park with a girl from high school. She’d won these skip the queue passes and it was epic - we went on The Mamba six times in a row and both got so dizzy that I walked into a fence and fell on my butt and she was sick in a trash can. Fun times 🤣

That would depend on a lot of things - most importantly, to be the perfect date it would have to be something that the person I was taking really loved and without knowing who that is… how can I possibly say what we’d do?

Of course this hits a little different when said family are effectively designing and building the planes but err… the principle is important ☺️

Do you think you are husband material?

Oh, uh… I… hope so? 🥺🫣🥰

I mean I know my working / living situation is a bit… abnormal. Because the family and the work and the remote living situation come along as a package deal, of course.

I have been told I can be a bit, err, intense… stress inducing… smothering… though I really am working on that.

They’d have to be ok with sharing my affections with a hypermach rocket plane…

I am probably quite annoying for a number of other reasons too.

Perhaps not husband material in the eyes of the vast majority of humanity then 🥴

But… assuming a Somebody I had the right kind of connection and shared dreams/values with could cope with all that?

Well… then I’d try my absolute hardest to be the best partner/husband I could possibly be? I don’t really do things by halves so… with me you get absolute devotion or nothing at all.
