A small bouquet of roses grown in my former garden in San Diego, California. It seems ages ago that I was able to pick lovely roses like this from my own garden... The rose variety is called Pierre de Ronsard also known as Eden and I combined them with some scabiosas. I still love this simple, unpretentious, romantic cottage garden style arrangement and I hope you like it, too! I am wishing all my American friends a wonderful Labor Day! On a personal note I want to thank everyone for the well wishes for my mom and myself that I received after my last post. It has really touched me! I am still in Germany trying to support my mom after surgery due to a severe illness. Overall she is slowly recovering from the surgery but there are sometimes setbacks and it is not an easy time.
