similar thoughts had run through fujin’s mind since ... everything. if there had been a higher power, then why had they allowed for ultimecia’s plans to unfold ? heroes had come in the end to put a stop to things, but why was it that they were allowed to be swept up into everything, to begin with ? it makes one wonder --- is there really a god to believe in ? forces that transcend human ken beyond gfs ? it brings fujin back to the same point ... it’s familiar. it’s known. when your fate, in part, lies in the hands of another, it becomes easier to stomach all that has happened. sometimes nothing could be done is better to hear than there was something that i could’ve done.
“ hyne, familiar. ” laws, morals, scripture where they intersect. it’s given her something to live by that has been beyond the whims of others. what is a life without faith ? for others, she knows it’s different. for fujin, she’s sure it would be a very dark and dreary world indeed.
“ no faith, lonely. ”
