Any particular video you were thinking of, or is this just in general? Bc I just watched one of his videos like an hour ago that kinda had me feeling the same way

I’ve been watching him for a long time and I love how unapologetic he is, how accurately he presents facts and that he always tells people that he’s not there to tell them how they should feel, he’s just bringing the info. And he always calls people on their shit.

But now, with the whole Daddy of Five shit storm, he’s just been amazing and my respect for him has skyrocketed.

My favorite read of 2016 was The Girl with all the Gifts by M.R. Carey. And my question is: How do you get out of reading slumps, when nothing sounds good to read?

Alice: I just saw Girl with all the Gifts is getting a movie. Reading slumps, huh? My official answer is: I pick a range of things to try and gain my attention/enthusiasm – cool covers, easy quick reads, old favourites, and book recs from friends. The unofficial answer is apparently such bad advice that I’m not allowed to share it or so Arnna says.

Arnna: I don’t push myself out of reading slumps. I stop reading and wait until I feel like opening a book again. Otherwise I just resent the books I’m forcing myself to read.
