Romelle bounced in anticipation as Keith led her to their seats. She looked around wildly, her pink eyes sparkling as they saw all the people in the theater.

She has never seen a theater like this. It seemed extremely old-fashioned, yet, comforting in its adorable charm. Keith tightened his hold on her hand and the two sat in their seats, the both of them having a nice view of the stage head-on.

Romelle smiled and she continued looking at every different direction exaggeratedly. Keith chuckled and shook his head fondly.

“Are we going to watch the musical you and Pidge can’t stop referencing?” Romelle asked, her eyes big and curious.

Keith wrapped an arm around her, “Yep. I think you’re going to like this.”

Romelle shrugged and took his word for it.

“What’s a whore? What’s a Scotsman? Where’s the Caribbean? What’s a ten dollar? Keith, I don’t understand anything! Didn’t you say this was about the beginning of the United States?”

Keith shushed his confused girlfriend and advised, “Honestly, these terms will be very confusing for you even after I explain them, just…watch it. It gets better, I promise.”

Romelle huffed watching the musical confused. Then her eyes lit up when Alexander Hamilton walked on stage, “You have his hair!”

Keith blinked and his eyes widened, cupping a hand over her mouth to avoid drawing more attention to themselves, “Romelle! Not so loud!”

The blonde merely giggled and she teased, “You have the hairstyle of a thousand-year-old political figure!”

Keith just crossed his arms and huffed.

It was safe to say that Romelle was happy with the next few songs.

She couldn’t stop relating her half-Galran boyfriend with the protagonist. Keith, obviously not wanting to spoil the musical for her, just insisted that he wasn’t.

When Aaron Burr sang his part, she scrunched her brows and whispered, “I do not trust this man. I’m gonna call him Lotor.”

When she saw and heard John Laurens come to the stage she almost shrieked and yelled, “That’s Lance!”

She had the same reaction when she saw Lafayette and she dubbed him Pidge.

But when she saw Mulligan, she froze and pondered, “I was about to call him Hunk, but Hunk would never act like that,” she finished with disgust putting emphasis on the last word.

Keith chuckled and wrapped his arm around her shoulder.

When the Schuyler sisters came out, oh, Romelle had a field day.

“This is perfect!” She exclaimed, “I’m Eliza, Allura is Angelica and Shay is Peggy! It all works out!”

Keith, who has to fight to not say anything, just nodded.

By the time Helpless came around, Romelle was convinced that the Musical represented them perfectly.

Romelle gasped when she realized that Eliza was pining after Hamilton and she intertwined her fingers with Keith’s, “I love this musical.”

Keith smiled and kissed her forehead, chuckling softly when he heard her soft snores. He pulled away and smiled softly at her napping face. He lifted his gentle hand to move her bangs away away and he pressed a light kiss on her Altean marks.

He nuzzled her head on the crook of his neck and he drew small swirls on her arm, frowning when remembering that she doesn’t know the fate of the characters and how she will get upset when she does.

Romelle then stirs and wraps her arms around Keith. He smiles and decides to keep it to himself. Ignorance is bliss, they always say.

The Black Lion is silently following the coordinates towards Earth, the other four Lions following loosely.

The comms were quiet as they should be. Keith had offered to stay awake as the others slept, promising to do the same when they wake up.

Now, they’re all peacefully sleeping, save for one sneaky Altean.

Romelle took one of the personal pods and launched herself towards the Black Lion, confident that Keith will pick her up.

She was right.

Keith, however, was not amused.

“What would have happened if I didn’t see you?” Was his greeting when she entered through Black’s open mouth.

Romelle crossed her arms and puffed, “You would have found me anyway.”

Keith sighed and calmed down a bit, remembering to keep his temper around Romelle since she can also get just as heated, but she is still quite emotional. Once he calmed down, he gently asked, “What were you doing out there?”

Romelle turned sheepish and blushed, “I missed you.”

Keith’s tense muscles relax and he smiled softly, grabbing Romelle’s hand in his and led her to the cockpit, “Come on.”

He led her in the cockpit, Romelle gaping in awe as she brushed her hand on the fine machinery. Keith slid off his chest plate and chuckled when he saw Romelle gape adorably.

“Ro?” The blonde then turned around, her mouth still slack, and she tilted her head when saw Keith without his chest plate.

“Come on,” he chuckled, “Let’s cuddle on the pilot seat.”

Romelle watched as her boyfriend sat in the pilot seat and she lifted an inquisitive brow, “What’s a cuddle?”

Keith smiled and patted his lap, “Come, sit and I’ll show you.”

Romelle slowly sat on Keith’s lap, awkward in the odd position. Keith chuckled and Romelle blushed at the face he was making. It was the smug, cute, adorable look he gives when he knows something she doesn’t.

“Look, Ro, you face this way and turn your feet there,” he directed as he shifted her position so her legs hung over the pilot seat, “and now you lean against me,” he gently laid her head on the crook of his neck.

“Oh,” Romelle paused, “This is comfy.”

Keith smiled as he felt Romelle’s slim fingers intertwine with his, “Yeah, it is.”

Then Keith started twirling his thumb on her hand, his thumb outlining a heart on her skin as he lazily placed kisses on her forehead.

Romelle smiled and she studied their intertwined hands before whispering, “Your hands are so big.”

Keith pulled away from her forehead and laughed quietly, Romelle giggling before adding, “It’s true! They are!”

Keith shook his head, placing a kiss on her cheek, “You are too cute for your own good, Ro.”

Keith a hand on her cheek, “You are too good for me.”

Romelle’s ears drooped and she lifted a hand to his scarred cheek, her thumb caressing the purple scar, “On the contrary, Keith, you are perfect for me. And I’m perfect for you. Don’t ever put yourself down, Keith.”

Keith smiled at his girlfriend and gently joined their lips, Romelle humming sweetly at the contact.

It was a lazy kiss. The slow movement of their lips having no sexual undertones. Just sweet, sleepy love.

Keith pulled away, leaving a few pecks on her lips before separating himself, his face still in both of Romelle’s hands and his hand still on the small of her back. Romelle whined and placed her own pecks on Keith’s lips, eliciting a giggle from her Black Paladin.

Keith took hold of her chin, lifting her head so he could look at her face. She opened her eyes, and the tears streamed down her cheeks and her altean markings began to glow like they always did when she was emotional.
