Sleigh Bells & Whistles
Alexis Krauss from the noise-pop sensation Sleigh Bells has rung the alarm for up and coming fashion label Jezebel&Toff.
Alexis visited the label’s avant-garde SoHo store last week to pick up her acid wash denim jacket, which received a very special Jezebel&Toff transformation from designer Vincent Miller. The result is a distinctive one-of-a-kind customization designed especially for the burgeoning artist. All Jezebel&Toff designs are hand appliquéd involving 3-5 days labor and the jacket now features all the bells and whistles including a Golden Tutt, wearing Krauss’ signature wayfarers and her nickname A+ sewn into the back.
Sprouting from a performance background himself, it is no wonder designer Vincent Miller has caught the attention of the creative world. Having an enviable career dancing for artists such as The Spice Girls, Robbie Williams and Run DMC, performing in concerts, video clips and award shows such as MTV, Smash Hits and the BRIT awards as well as a 2 year stint in 'Oh What a Night' on the West End, Vincent brings his knowledge of theatre, performance and style to each design. His current range Citizen's of the Apocalypse (available at their SoHo concept store) features huge mix media images on discontinued repurposed army surplus jackets. Inspired by Japanese, Egyptian and European history and culture, every Jezebel&Toff piece is unique, loud and certainly not for the fainthearted. www.jezebelandtoff.com - Romy Erdos
