Except for a handful of moments from the three games I've seen in Yankee Stadium, this is my strongest in-person baseball memory. Not the play itself (which I didn't remember until I looked it up) but its aftermath. There was a long delay while Rickey recovered from his collision with the wall, and some assholes sitting in my section started booing and yelled, "GET OFF THE FIELD, OLD MAN!" It's the only thing I still remember from that day, except for the miserable traffic jam trying to get out of the stadium's parking lot.
Rickey's box score from that game: 3-for-4, two runs scored, two stolen bases. Not bad for an old man.
