So! Welcome to the new year. We have been a little bit quiet over the New Year break and are finally getting back into the swing and can't wait for a huge 2012 from the BCN start up community. The events are starting to kick off again, don't forget to check out StartupDigest/Barcelona. Now back to where we were before the break. The 2011 Ronaldinhos!! So we got a range of nominations and the following are the two companies that were most supported. Massive prize = some free beer at one of the meet ups we will profile very soon. In no particular order: > Kantox - peer-to-peer hedging. We have already profiled them here. > 3Scale - Plug & Play Cloud API Management Platform. These guys have been based in BCN for a while a building up their company, with a growing team and presence. They are in a market where there a two major competitors in the USA however they are getting amazing results above and beyond these competitors. To name a few of their current customers: skype, wine.com, justgiving, viadeo, infochimps, liveops, ITjobs + many more. Keep an eye for these guys going real big this year.
