OKAY BUT noah czerny being really excited about halloween. it’s his favourite holiday, it always has been, and it’s especially great this year because he can finally get to celebrate it with his friends. he makes all sorts of halloween decorations with the help of blue for monmouth (little paper ghosts, bats, spiders and their webs, he goes once pumpkin hunting with adam) and it gets to the point where ronan is like “jesus christ we get it noah you are a ghost you like halloween we get it just stop” and he even starts to think about a costume when it hits him that he wouldn’t be able to change his clothes. it’s just a few days until the holiday but all the excitement drains out of him and he disappears for a while and on halloween he’s just sitting quietly in his room, trying to ignore the noises from the people outside when he hears gansey’s voice calling his name. he raises his head warily and sees all of them wearing the ghost costumes noah made for them, and ronan strides to him and lets a sheet fall over his head, saying “you were a pain in the ass about all of this just to give up at the last minute?” and blue comes closer to take his hand and they take him outside and gansey fixes the sheet so he can see through it and they take turns holding his hand so he has energy to feed from and THEY HAVE THE BEST TIME.

(blue makes some kids harass ronan, adam gives noah a piggyback ride and gansey lectures some 14 years old on proper medieval costumes. noah’s laugh can be heard all the way along the street)
