      he shouldn’t be here.  he shouldn’t be following her home, catching the door just before it closes, and slipping inside.  it would be all too easy for one of Fa Zhou’s men to CATCH HIM— and what reason would shang have for visiting someone he’s supposedly never met.  but when the door shuts behind him with a louder THUD than anticipated, it’s  too late to change his mind and leave.            ❝  we need to talk.  ❞
