Re: Recent posts & comments about moving to Canada if the mid-terms don't go your way. It must be nice to have the wherewithal and the job flexibility to do this, leaving the people who don't have the money (incl me PT, job), who face obstacles like pre-exsisting conditions, the elderly without large pensions/IRAs,/401ks (incl me, SS, Medicare), POC (not incl me) to fend for themselves & fight (and probably die) against the Republican agenda of purging us. Honestly, it seems pretty cowardly.

I can kind of understand where you're coming from on eating pigs. One of my grandmothers was sent from Norway to Minnesota to live with her uncle & aunt on their farm. She used to tell stories about several neighbors who fell (usually alcohol propelled) into their pigsties and were eaten. So, they have no mores about eating you.

Oh yeah a big old hog will eat your face right off if you give it a chance. But smaller pigs just want a cuddle.

Re: Diagram of the Batcave. Bruce Wane couldn't possibly have constructed all that by himself, even with Alfred's help. So who constructed this secret lair, and what happened to the workmen? Was it like building a Pharaoh's tomb in ancient Egypt?

The workers were boiled down and turned into the ink that is used to print all the Bat labels.

I've been seeing your posta about soda water & bitters. Do you use seltzer (no added sodium) or soda water/club soda (added salts like bicarb)? Also, what ratio of water to bitters do you use? Or at least an approximation, not doing science here, just looking for something interesting to drink.

Usually, it’s just seltzer. I literally force carbonate tap water. Occasionally, I use minerals to make an approximation of mineral water, but not often.

For ratios, it’s entirely to taste. I use around eight dashes of Angostura into about 12 ounces of water, but some people use significantly more or less.

Pence is evil and a monster, yes. The fundamental difference between them, though, is that Pence is a typically evil, regressive Republican who is reasonably predictable and Trump is a narcissistic paranoid who is so disconnected from reality, we have no idea what he’ll do. Pence is more like Ted Cruz, but Trump is genuinely dangerous. Pence isn’t going to start a war just to prove that he can, or undermine the national interests of the country to advance his personal business ambitions.
