I am a mix of excited and terrified for NaNoWriMo. I have the same problems, like I have no idea if I have my story developed enough, but I'm so excited to start so I'm all jittery from both. But honestly, I wouldn't worry to much about it. Last year I found that if you just write and not think too much about everything, stuff ends up getting sorted out on its own. Good luck!

I know that being Asexual means you can call yourself queer and I've seen asks of other people labeling themselves as queer, even with attraction to the opposite gender. I was wondering what the correlation between Asexuality and queerness is and if it's different if you're a girl who is attracted to guys.

Queer has been reclaimed and is being used to mean "not cisgender or heterosexual/heteroromantic." So. As long as some part of your identity is not one of those three things, queer is totally up for your use. All aces can identify as queer - as we are not heterosexual. Yes, even heteroromantic aces can identify as queer, though you will have to fight harder to use the term.
