I wanted to ask if you had time to do anything with Roo Teeth for the community Extra Life stream. I didn't have time to catch much of the stream.
I didn’t personally this year, but Roo Teeth was definitely involved.
Im pretty sure Lenny, one of the admins from Western Australia, was able to contribute to the Rooster Teeth Community stream, and we collectively raised $2038 as a team this year - which is pretty awesome (and we’re still taking donations). But since we started doing it two years ago we’ve raised over $10,000 which is absolutely amazing.
Im a little fuzzy on the details since I’ve been taking personal time off from being an admin until literally this morning haha.
Our Roo Teeth All Stars Charity Stream ended Sunday (4th September) morning at 10am. Some participants couldn’t stay awake so they napped for an hour or two - others persevered and entertained right through the night. We battled through some technical difficulties, waxing and pie throwing.
We raised more than $5'000 for headspace which is incredible! Thank you to everyone who donated, everyone who watched the stream and all who attended the event itself! The Rooster Teeth fan community never ceases to amaze with its unity and generosity.
A big thank you to The Nerd Cave for letting us takeover the venue for 24 hours of loud shenanigans.
We’d like to thank Twitch for featuring our stream on the front page, which contributed to us having thousands of viewers at one time.
Thank you to Hanabee and RTX Sydney for being supportive of our community ventures.
Thanks to Rooster Teeth for being awesome and facilitating communities like ours which bring together different types of people from all over Australia. We had community members attending not only from around Sydney, but also from Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth! Support and donations came in from RT communities around the world.
