When Your Roof’s Personality is ‘Chaotic Neutral
Opening Line "Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about… how my roof has the structural integrity of a house of cards in a wind tunnel."
The Project After that last storm, my roof now has a “quirky” new feature: a shingle that flaps like a bird trying to escape whenever it’s breezy. My DIY fix involved a brick and a prayer. (The brick fell off. The prayer was ignored.)
The Discovery Exact Exteriors’ general services page (Our Services) gave me a reality check. Turns out, roofs need ventilation (not just hope) to prevent ice dams, and “layers” aren’t just for fashion—they’re for waterproofing.
Reality Check
My “temporary” tarp has been up for 4 months.

Closing Thought I’ll add “roof repair” to my to-do list… right below “learn to meditate” and “stop stress-eating Goldfish.”
