We have to understand that BakHa knew how the Prince was going to die as she read the Joseon history in the library. We know that TY was in a coma, never to recover, in neither alive, or death state, an empty shell/ vessel. However; LG had to die in order for his spirit to dwell as a reincarnation of Lg in TY body (he was dead for all intend na purpose)..., so once LG, that love, destiny, fate, longing, wanted to survive and LG became TY and knowing his deep desire to find his lost love he was able to come back to BH. the cognative memories survived intact as time was meaningless 1day= months. LG knew about the juice shop, met at SeolPark and confimation were:1. LG posture and hands behind his back 2. he manner of speech 3. the look 4. the confirmation of his intimate hand gesture towards her 5. his princely outfit were both of them aknoeldge who he realy was 6. assurance that we all got what we wanted BH/LG together.We need a part 2: with the lives of the power rangers and BH/LG together.AWESOME WRITERS, CAN WAIT TO BY THE DRAMA DVD! You all know that LG's love transcended time and while TY lay in coma his connection to the 2 of them being on the same time was strong. So I imagine that upon LG's death, he was released to wake up in this time, but with the cognitive awareness of of both LG/TY, both merging and focused on that eternal promise/destiny that was meant to be as BuYoung was the rightful Crown Princess, in which evil could not prevail. Lg had to go to the future to fix the truthfulness and purity of eternal love. The method in which BakHa and TY joined hads was both intimate and the confirmation of how they felt for each other, letting BakHa know he as Back and she was Waiting. He was the carnal TY, both TY and LG in spirit, hes Princely attire was the for her to see him as she saw him the first time.I loved the ending, but as soon as they KNEW who they were it would have been wonderful to end it with a kiss, as they also knew they belong to each other.I assure that you would have heard from your worldwide viewers, screaming and crying o pure delight and hapinness. SO WE NEEDED A KISS!To all the subbers my sincere thanks for being so awesome and caring so much for our anxious hearts. We are indebted to you, so thank you for all your team efforts. We love you! Guys, guys guys. I have more evidence to my preferred interpretation of the ending of Rooftop Prince

Hi, I live in korea, and want to clarify some points on endings.

I belive after awaking from coma tae yong has the memory of his previous incarnation (Yi gak) on following reasons. (probably remembered her during coma)

1. From very first episode, he was attracted to park ha ( he probably didn’t remember at this point but was subconsiously influenced ) because he was drawing her, and commenting how beautiful she was.

2. after awakening from coma, he actively seek her out and leave the message with yi gak style sign. ㅌ ㅇ (which doesnt make any sense in modern korea. modern korean sign is either done in english or variation of his full korean letter, not just two korean syllables)

if he didn’t remember her, it would be very strange act to do so. (after all he have never even talked to her as taeyong before)

3. as he is standing before her, he was now standing in yi gak style , with his hand behind his back ( which is posture of some one of high position or age, and is almost never done in modern korea, because it is now considered immodest.. only very old people do it)

4. remember how in episode 19 in marrige scene parkha held yigak’s hand, one finger on yigak’s knuckles.. in the ending tae yong is holding park ha’s hand in same way.. (which would be absolutely inappriate if tae yong didn’t have yi gaks memory… would be like suddenly kissing a person he only met)

5. lastly he tells her, ” where have you been, i have been waiting for long time” I belive that means he have waited for her for 300 years.. remember in first episode, how he was uninterested in wealth and position but spends his time wandering and drawing things… I belive in his past incarnations ( after dying as Yi gak but before being reborn as taeyong.. ) he must have done the same …searched for her because subconsiously he missed her in those lives..

if he didn’t remember his previous life, this comment does not make sense.

So I belive , in first episode he only remembered park ha subconsiously, but after waking up from coma , he must have remembered the important pasts enough to recognize parkha.. and tells her in motion and words that he is ” taeyong”

and park ha understands.. because otherwise, she would have never said ” I was here the whole time (waiting for you..) ”

and if they dont know , how can they think ” Even after three hundred years pass, I will love you”…

the ending was beautifull. It is sad that Yigak the prince lived and died without buyong, but their love was strong to live through time and space, so they can be reunited.. and come to fruitation in present..

I belive Taeyong remembered her only subconconsiously before coma, and during coma, regained his previous life ..

There’s actually a HINT in episode 8. Grandmother asked Se-Na to deliver Tae-young’s sketchbook to Yi-Gak – in the sketchbook, there is one whole page drawn with BUTTERFLY and LOTUS… I don’t really it’s just a coincidence as the cameraman did stop his camera at that drawing for few seconds…
