I'm finally starting the long process of pulling up my carpet and I have two thoughts:

1. What kind of monsters thought it was a good idea to cover up beautiful hardwood floors with TEAL CARPET????? This is why old people shouldn't be allowed to decide things

And 2. This carpet stank. Real bad stank.

We set up Ember's ridiculously expensive shelf today! Safe to say he loves it. Also here's a pic of him 'helping' set it up

I've pulled up almost all the carpet! It's taken me a few nights because I can't bring the furniture out of my room so I literally have to move everything around to get at every area and it's massively heavy furniture. But I'm almost done!

I moved out my bed so last stretch of painting!!! Goodbye 2003 walls! Hate that this teal carpet is still here but we'll deal with that next

I'm painting my ceiling but I'm so tired I need coffee. Room renovation is hard man

The carpet is gone!!!!!!!!!!! The wood obviously needs some TLC and it's gonna get sanded and stained but I feel so much better with the carpet gone. The whole room feels lighter

I did save a small square to remember it by though!
