new roommate
It is official. Arialla had acquired a new roommate. But…what did that intel exactly? She didn’t really know what the qualifications were to become an excellent addition to another person’s abode. She researched everything she could about the subject. There was some puzzling information, as well. It said it was a place where she could secure her assets. At this time, there were no assets. She had no furnishings to add to the room, no extra clothes she had collected throughout her travels, and there wasn’t anything she could add to decorate the place. Maybe there could be a way she could make it up to her new roommate once she officially moves in. It was sudden that he asked her to move in, so that stirred her nerves, too. But, oddly enough, it made Arialla feel a bit more human. There she was standing outside his door holding a light box. Inside was one bottle of wine and some strawberries. It was a complimentary gift for being invited into his home. There was also a series of instructions she made for herself to remind herself on how to be hospitable. At least, this is what she read. It was always important to bring some sort of gift to her new mate. The gift was usually some homemade pastires. Arialla wasn’t much of a cook or baker so she grabbed items that were underneath Isrieal’s desk. She took the first step forward and hovered her index finger over the bell. Hesitation stilled her movements. Were these nerves? Instead of ringing it once, she rang it several times before stopping suddenly. She liked the sound it made before realizing it was very annoying. This might not help with her first impression. Not that she’d realize this was improper…. It was going to be difficult to be a full-fledge human in front of someone else. She couldn’t even transform into a new body instead of changing clothes. Which meant she’d need to venture out into the unknown for attire that fit her normal physique. She was overthinking it. All she had to do was do extra people watching. He’d never notice anything peculiar about her. “Hello, mate! No…that doesn’t work…” Arialla was trying to practice her greeting before he’d open the door. “Ayo dude! No. No. No. That’s not very mako. Hmmm. Hello there, good sir! How’s the weather up there? I gueeeeess..”
