Hello.  Hi.  How are you?

So it’s been a long time since I actually updated this tumblr.  I was fairly (somewhat) active on my FFXIV tumblr, but after the adult content ban, I shut ‘er down.

It’s been a bit of a wild year, to say the least.  Just reflecting back since January of last year...

- I lost my mother unexpectedly to a fatal heart attack.  The loss was devastating, but we’re all learning to live again.

- Shortly after, I started working for a new department within the company I’ve been with for 10 years.  It’s been challenging and stressful -- certainly not an assignment that I wanted, but one I felt was needed. The progress and growth I’ve helped to create for this department is quite rewarding, however.

- I traveled to Seattle for a week (for work).  Was so homesick for @chaitearex, I couldn’t wait to get home.

- @chaitearex and I completely redid our apartment and bought all new furniture.  And a 78″ television!  It’s pretty incredible -- not to mention our reclining sectional... So comfy!

- On Christmas day, my aunt shot herself in the head in an attempt at suicide.  She shockingly lived.  We all expected the worst.  But through incredible odds, she pulled through and is improving leaps and bounds daily with inpatient rehab and therapy (both physical and mental).

This past year has been one of intense life changes and desperate attempts of coping.  Much of that coping has come in the way of shutting myself out from the world and playing video games.  I haven’t drawn, haven’t done much in the way of being creative.  I feel like so much of my life has changed and I wonder if I even have the capability to be creative in that way anymore.

So I thought -- maybe I would try again.  Nothing wrong with attempting.

I think this person is being facetious and means Warrior is better favored as an off-tank because of it’s high DPS. But Warrior is a perfectly fine tank if you do it correctly!

It's the runic symbol for Hagalaz. Nothing very significant, just my favorite rune of the lot. ^_^

You guys are the best. tbh, I wasn't feeling swell this morning and hoped that this set would just slide quietly under everything. But you guys and your super kind words! You make me feel much much better about myself today!
