Night Sword

Description: The sword is made entirely of metal; the blade is gray, the guard is indigo with a pale green gem with a red line in the center, the pommel is indigo, and the grip is wrapped in purple leather. The blade has a bevel down the middle and is shaped like a dagger's blade, though the sword itself is two-handed. The guard resembles an eye, with the pale green gem resembling the eyeball and the red line resembling a slit pupil, along with two red triangles resembling tear ducts on either side. The gem is able to flip around to show a directional compass. The pommel is spherical.

History: Peppermint Butler forged this sword to replace Finn's previous weapons: the grass sword, Finn sword, and small sword. Hunson Abadeer was summoned to enchant the sword with Nightosphere magic, giving it the power to ward off evil and even magically shackle beings like himself. Finn uses this sword through the end of the series, and one thousand years into the future, it is seen being carried by Sweet P.

Root Sword

Description: The blade is pinkish metal, and the hilt is made of material resembling brown plant roots. The sword resembles a shortsword. The blade has a bevel down the middle, and it splits off just above the hilt in either direction to make a triangle shape. The hilt roots are fashioned to resemble a wide guard, and parts of them extend downward where the pommel would be.

History: Finn picked up this sword on the mystery train in order to battle the Conductor (actually Jake). He uses it as his main weapon until he acquires the demon blood sword. When the Finn sword is broken, he uses the root sword briefly. Its fate is unknown.
