genuinely, i want to actually write a short something but for now, have my root beer float (kryoz/pezzy/smitty) thoughts

• i enjoy this dynamic the most with established krii7y and pezzy somehow getting involved

• pezzy being interested in kryoz; smitty notices and decides to be a menace about it. he brings it up to kryoz, “so….pezzy?”; he’s affectionate with kryoz while making direct eye contact with pezzy; he brings it up to pezzy, “…..you got a thing for my boyfriend?” (teasingly and also interested)

• pezzy feeling frustrated w/ how smitty just pokes and prods and teases and taunts him. pezzy always wants to one up him in some way, and kryoz notices. he brings it up to pezzy, “he’s actually just all talk.” / “wanna see him behave for once?” and it’s pezzy being witness to a side of smitty only kryoz is privy to

those are really my main two thoughts that circulate whenever i think about these 3 absjwbsjsndm

This easy-to-make freezer tart tastes like a root beer float from your childhood. On top of a graham cracker crust is vanilla ice cream mixed with root beer. On top of that is a cream layer that has gelatin in it.

Ingredients: 1 package graham crackers, crushed. 1/4 cup melted butter. 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened. 1 cup root beer. 1/4 cup heavy cream. 1 envelope unflavored gelatin.

Instructions: Mix crushed graham crackers with melted butter. Press into a tart pan to form a crust. In a large bowl, combine softened vanilla ice cream with root beer. Spread evenly over the crust. In a saucepan, heat heavy cream until hot but not boiling. Remove from heat. Sprinkle gelatin over the hot cream and let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom. Stir the gelatin mixture until completely dissolved. Pour the gelatin mixture over the ice cream layer. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours or until set. Serve slices topped with whipped cream and a drizzle of root beer syrup.

Ingredients: 1 cup root beer. 3 envelopes 1/4 oz each unflavored gelatin. 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar. 1 cup light corn syrup. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/4 cup powdered sugar, for dusting. 1/4 cup cornstarch, for dusting. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 teaspoon root beer extract. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla bean paste. 1/2 cup crushed root beer barrel candies, for topping optional.

Instructions: Pour 1/2 cup of root beer into a mixing bowl and sprinkle the gelatin over it. Let it sit for about 10 minutes to soften. In a saucepan, combine the remaining 1/2 cup of root beer, granulated sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Stir over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved, and the mixture reaches 240F 115C on a candy thermometer. Once the sugar syrup is at the right temperature, slowly pour it into the gelatin mixture while beating on low speed with an electric mixer. Gradually increase the speed to high and beat for about 10-12 minutes until the mixture becomes thick and fluffy. Add the vanilla extract, root beer extract, and vanilla bean paste to the marshmallow mixture. Beat for an additional 2-3 minutes until well combined. In a separate bowl, mix together the powdered sugar and cornstarch. Dust a 9x9-inch baking pan with the powdered sugar and cornstarch mixture to prevent sticking. Pour the marshmallow mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top. If desired, sprinkle the crushed root beer barrel candies over the surface.
