@burningman is happening right now and this week I'm throwing back to #2009 , my 3rd burn. Nearly didn't make it too. Missed my fight and my ride to the fest. Had this massive upheaval aka a breakup and it left me reeling. Fortunately I am a part of #rootsociety and Jefr Tale rescued the whole thing for me. Using a sat phone he rebooked my tickets and also arranged a ride into and onto the playa. I bawled my eyes several times while I was there and specifically got lost in the desert. So, I burned. Properly. I really let loose the second set I was scheduled for and @darrinharrisfrisby captured that energy in a series of pics but I used a couple here for this post. I wore a #wolverine shirt and while I'm usually good to avoid prints for wear while werkn I knew this was a good call. Down and out when entering but bathed in fire and left new.
