“ha ha very funny.” was her dry response to the tease about her possibly turning green due to her feelings to the holidays. “i can admit some of them are pretty. not all of them though. some make me wonder just what people were thinking.” though she almost choked on her drink when her step sister so easily explained why mistletoe was a thing. “that is very random and i have zero clue on how that got tied into christmas. this holiday is making less and less sense to me now.”

“didn’t i just say i wasn’t one? huh?” she demanded, looking up at him with a look of confusion. “wait you telling me you had more alcohol in this house and you didn’t think to tell me?” rory got to her feet, already making her way to the kitchen to see if she could find it on her own. she needed a little something to deal with the holidays. of course she didn’t comment on the kissing him under the mistletoe. why? to mess with him and make him wonder if she actually would. instead she made a small sound, neither confirming or denying if she would.
